Take It Back Movement Plans One-Million-Man Protest Across Nigeria on Saturday
The Take It Back Movement has announced a major one-million-man protest scheduled for this Saturday across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
This demonstration is part of their EndBadGovernance campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.
According to Mr. Sanyaolu Juwon, the National Coordinator of the movement, the protest will be a pivotal moment in their ongoing campaign.
Originally intended to last 10 days, the initiative has expanded into a significant, sustained effort involving participants from across Nigeria and abroad.
The aim of the protest is to highlight the severe challenges faced by citizens and to call for immediate government action.
Despite some disruptions caused by criminal elements, the protest has garnered significant support, particularly in northern regions.
President Bola Tinubu’s recent appeal for protesters to halt and give his administration more time has not deterred the ongoing demonstrations, which continue in cities such as Abuja and Kano.
