Tems Postpones Music Video Release Amid National Protests

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems has delayed the release of her music video for “Burning” from her debut album “Born In The Wild,” which was initially scheduled for August 1st.

In a statement on her Twitter, Tems explained that the decision was made out of respect for the ongoing nationwide protests.

She emphasized the importance of listening to the people’s voices and prayed for the safety of those involved.

Additionally, actress Tonto Dikeh called for peaceful protests and urged the government to address the issues raised by Nigerian youths, highlighting the widespread hardships faced by many citizens.

In a recent interview, Solomon shares his expectations with being recognized by the rapper but was forgotten. He still shows appreciation to the fact that his work inspired that singer.

Olamide didn’t call me when he released the song. I was happy, but not happy. When the video dropped, I was expecting a call, at least a feature. I tried to see him, but it didn’t work.”

It can be recalled that Halle Bailey recently spoke out against the rapper and claimed abuse by the rapper. The actress was also recently granted a restraining order against DDG which grants a 100 yard distance from  him.

His mother, Tonya then takes to social media to leave a comment on the allegations made “I don’t usually comment or say anything on this Internet even with all this negativity, the lies, hatred against mine. However, these accusations have made me realize that I’ve been quiet too long”.
