Nigerian influencer and media personality Simi Sanya has made headlines after sharing her views on cooking for your partner.

She stated that just because a woman is in a relationship with a man does not mean she has to prepare his meals.

“You can’t tell me to come to your house over the weekend and be cooking for you because we’re in a relationship. Was that the plan? No? Didn’t I tell you before?”

She then used her marriage as an example, sharing that she doesn’t stress herself in marriage. She said she sometimes cooks spaghetti or yam and eggs for her husband, and he does not complain.

She added that people do not have to stick to traditional relationship roles for a modern relationship to work.

Nigerian singer 2Baba has reacted to rumours claiming he has gotten back together with his ex-partner, Annie Idibia.

It can be noted that the pair were recently seen with friends, sparking rumours as fans began shipping them and speculating that they are seeing each other.
