Popular Series, The Smart Money Woman returns for Season 2 on October 10, 2024. The series, which first aired on Netflix in September 2021 as a seven-episode adaptation of the original Africa Magic season, has released its official teaser trailer.

Created by Arese Ugwu, this financial literacy comedy-drama set in Lagos features Nollywood stars like Osas Ighodaro, Toni Tones, and Ini Dima-Okojie. Directed by Wande Thomas and Bunmi Ajakaiye, Season 2 is produced by Arese Ugwu, Isoken Ogiemwonyi, Akin ‘Marine’ Marinho, and Lala Akindoju.

American Actress Keke Palmer speaks on the traumatic conversation with her manager. In a recent interview with The Cut, she stated that a former manager traumatized her concerning her mother’s health.

The actress recalled people telling her, her mother will die if she doesn’t lose weight at 12 years old.
“That really, really traumatized me and stressed me out. It got me thinking she was going to die, thinking about things like medical bills. It was just too much.”

She stated that she was worried about a lot and she even hated her parents for a while because of the pressure. “I hated my parents for a long time, There was so much pressure to rise to the occasion for my community, for my parents, for my siblings, for their sacrifices. They weren’t saying it, but that was the reality.”
