During a recent interview, Toke Makinwa reflected on her past marriage and spoke on the fact that it was viewed by the public, however, no one understood the private struggles she went through in the marriage.

She also added that most times the public only sees the good side and not the difficult side.

She then expressed, “Maybe I could have stayed if it wasn’t so public. But the way I loved this person would have been dangerous for me. If I stayed, how I felt would have consumed my entire life.”

Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has opened up about business and how he actually failed before becoming successful.

In a recent interview, the singer shared that he borrowed €40,000 from his uncle to start a business, but the venture failed.

“I remember one time I took money from my uncle to do business; the business went south. And then he was chasing me for the money… I was so embarrassed that my dad had to pay,” he said.

He added that the experience sharpened his mindset on business.

Popular Nigerian actress Oby Kechere, known for her role as “Madam Koi Koi,” has unfortunately passed away after battling an illness.

The news was revealed by the Directors Guild of Nigeria, which stated “It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Madam Cecilia Oby Kechere, Vice Chairman of the DGN Abuja Chapter.

“We were informed yesterday that she passed on Monday, 27th April 2026, after a prolonged illness.”

Many have taken to social media to pay tribute to the actress.
