Timaya Raises Alarm Over Destruction of Farmlands in Bayelsa, Urges Government Intervention
Popular Afrobeat singer, Timaya cries out and expresses concern over the destruction of farmlands and vegetation in his state, Bayelsa.
The singer took to his X page to expresses his concern for this situation. He called on the government to intervene and protect the farmers and crops.
Timaya then states that the destruction of farmlands is a set back to the economy and food supply in the country. He then lamented on the behalf of farmers who depend on agriculture for food and survival.
“Pls the government should do something. They are destroying farms in Bayelsa. Aboki, take your cow inside and feed them. This is so sad.”
