Timi Dakolo Claps Back at Pastor Lazarus Over Gospel Singers’ Fees
Nigerian Singer, Timi Dakolo responds to trending comment made by Pastor Lazarus regarding gospel singers.
The Pastor makes headline as he criticizes gospel singers who prioritize money over ministration. He shared that many gospel singers have lost sight of the true meaning behind their spiritual calling.
“It has become a performance; someone has come here to charge N5 million just to sing.”
In response to this, Timi Dakolo shares his insights and perspective. The singer states that the singers deserve to live a comfortable life and can charge for their talent.
“You should be paid what you deserve. Studio session, production and promotion cost a lot. You have a family to feed, you have rent to pay, you have more songs to put out. We should stop all these attack on people’s work, As much as it is spiritual, music is art.”
Nigerian gospel singer Judikay and her husband Pastor Opara celebrate as they welcome their second child.
The couple took to social media and announced this wonderful news.

Nigerian singer Asake speaks on his relationship with his father. In a recent interview he shared that he loves his father despite any distance.
“The love is still the same between me and my dad, even if I don’t live with him or see him every day, Even if he points a gun at me, till eternity he will always be my dad, and I will still show him the same love.”
It can be noted that few weeks back the singer gifted his father and his mother a car.
