Timi Dakolo Claps Back at Pastor Lazarus Over Gospel Singers’ Fees
Nigerian Singer, Timi Dakolo responds to trending comment made by Pastor Lazarus regarding gospel singers.
The Pastor makes headline as he criticizes gospel singers who prioritize money over ministration. He shared that many gospel singers have lost sight of the true meaning behind their spiritual calling.
“It has become a performance; someone has come here to charge N5 million just to sing.”
In response to this, Timi Dakolo shares his insights and perspective. The singer states that the singers deserve to live a comfortable life and can charge for their talent.
“You should be paid what you deserve. Studio session, production and promotion cost a lot. You have a family to feed, you have rent to pay, you have more songs to put out. We should stop all these attack on people’s work, As much as it is spiritual, music is art.”
Nigerian Singer Peter Okoye, popularly known from the former music duo, P-Square, speaks on the separation and how he’s doing.
During a recent interview, the singer spoke on the separation from P-square and shared how he’s satisfied with a solo career in music.
He then addresses the years long rumor and request from fans to bring the duo back together. “There’s a joy that comes with going solo. Please respect our decisions. We’ve tried it; it’s not working.”
Popular Nigerian Skit Maker Shank expresses dissatisfaction with Nasty Blaq’s request of his share from the skit maker’s win.
It can be recalled that the skit maker recently won a sum of $10k dollars from an event sponsored by Mr Beast and Kai Cenat.
Nasty Blaq then announces that Shank will give him a share of the money, $50k.
Upon hearing this, the skit maker took to social media to express his disagreement with that statement.
Nasty Blaq then jokingly recalls when he bought food for the skit maker.

It can be recalled that the singer recently cancelled all his concerts and tours, leaving fans worried and concerned.
Many questioned the reason for the cancellation till a random user spoke out and shared that he can still be mourning his mother.
Fans then pray for the singer to be comforted as he mourns his mother who passed away in 2022.
After all this Wizkid then shares a tweet on X, confirming the reason “I miss my Queen every day.”
