During a recent episode of Amy Poehler’s podcast, “Good Hang,” comedian and actress Tina Fey shared her candid thoughts on celebrities pursuing additional business ventures despite already having substantial wealth. Fey expressed her disapproval of such endeavors, stating, “I have a problem with rich people having a side hustle.”

The conversation began with Poehler complimenting Fey’s hair and suggesting she consider launching a hair campaign or a line of glasses. Fey responded by admitting her lack of enthusiasm for money, saying, “I do kind of hate money.” She elaborated that while she doesn’t waste money, she doesn’t get excited about it either, emphasizing that having enough to live comfortably is sufficient for her.

Fey’s remarks mentioned her contentment with financial security over accumulating excess wealth. She humorously noted her aversion to financial pursuits, stating, “I kind of hate money.”

Poehler, attempting to offer a different perspective, mentioned that younger generations might not judge side hustles as harshly. She suggested Fey learn from Gen Z, who often embrace multiple ventures without judgment. Fey, however, stood by her viewpoint, reaffirming her stance on the matter.
