Tinubu Promises to Track Down All Wrongdoers and Make Nigeria Safe for Everyone
President Bola Tinubu has promised that Nigerians who engage in harmful activities will face severe legal consequences.
He stressed that his administration would not tolerate misconduct or threats to the nation’s peace, whether these offenders are within the country or operating from abroad.
Speaking through the National Security Advisor (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, during the graduation ceremony of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS) in Abuja, Tinubu made it clear that justice will catch up with anyone endangering Nigeria’s security.
“If you are causing harm to Nigeria, no matter where you are, we will find you.
You will be held accountable for your actions,” Ribadu stated, reiterating the President’s unwavering resolve to maintain law and order.
The ceremony, which marked a significant milestone for senior security officials completing their advanced training, also saw remarks from the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Adeọla Ajayi.
Ajayi stated the importance of cooperation among Nigeria’s various security agencies in tackling the country’s challenges.
He emphasized, “Collaboration is key. We are witnessing an unprecedented level of synergy between the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and the NSA, which is driving a more unified front against insecurity.
When we work as one, no threat can defeat us.”
Ajayi expressed optimism about the nation’s future security, assuring citizens that progress is underway.
“Soon, Nigerians will sleep peacefully, without fear.
This is the direction set by the President, and we’re fully committed to delivering on this promise.”
He also conveyed gratitude for his appointment, pledging loyalty and dedication.
“I thank President Tinubu for the trust placed in me. I am committed to upholding this responsibility and ensuring our collective safety.”
