Tiwa Savage Says She Froze Her Eggs in Case She Decides to Have More Kids
Tiwa Savage has revealed that she decided to freeze her eggs as a way of keeping her options open for the future. Speaking with Zeze Mills, the 42-year-old Afrobeats singer shared that while she’s unsure if she wants more children, she wanted the assurance that the choice would still be hers to make.
She admitted she wished she had done it sooner, encouraging women in their 30s to consider it as a way of taking control of their fertility. Also, she explained that having her first child in her 30s was a blessing because she was more emotionally and financially stable, but pointed out that egg reserves can drop unexpectedly. For her, freezing her eggs is like having an insurance policy, and she’s now a strong advocate for the process.
