The civil lawsuit accusing rappers Jay-Z and Diddy of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a New York party in 2000 has been officially dropped by the accuser.

Court documents filed on Friday in New York confirmed that the case was “voluntarily dismissed with prejudice,” meaning it cannot be refiled.

Reacting to the decision, Jay-Z called it a victory for those who have been falsely accused.

“Today is a victory. These baseless and appalling allegations have been dismissed,” he said in a statement shared on Roc Nation’s social media page.

“The pain my wife, my children, and my loved ones have gone through cannot simply be erased.”
