Tunisian Pilot Explains Incident Between Nigeria and Libya
The Tunisian pilot who flew the Nigerian delegation to Libya has provided his side of the story, explaining what really transpired during the contentious trip. The pilot offered insights into the series of events that led to the misunderstanding, clearing the air about the situation. He emphasized the complexities and communication breakdown that caused confusion, which ultimately put the delegation in a difficult position.
Turkish football pundit Cem Dizdar has advised Galatasaray to start considering a backup plan for Victor Osimhen’s possible departure.
Dizdar believes Osimhen’s agent might be keeping Galatasaray in the dark about the striker’s next move ahead of the summer transfer window.
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli last September, has been in top form this season, netting 26 goals in 30 matches. His impressive performances have sparked fresh transfer rumours, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly interested in signing him.
Dizdar suggested that Osimhen’s agent’s recent behavior indicates that something is brewing behind the scenes. “When a manager starts talking too much, it means there’s something going on. He’s hiding things from us, but the truth will come out soon,” Dizdar said, as reported by habersarikirmizi.
He added that Galatasaray needs to be prepared for Osimhen’s exit. “Big players like Osimhen fit into top clubs like Galatasaray, but they always need a backup plan. No one expected Osimhen to replace Mauro Icardi, but he did. Now, Galatasaray must think of an alternative.”
Galatasaray player, Victor Osimhen is reportedly available and cleared for the match against Beskitas on Saturday.
The player’s availability was not yet confirmed due to his muscle injury from his last match. However Osimhen has now been cleared to play in the Turkish Super Lig match.
The Nigerian player have set out an impressive record in this elagsu alone with 8 goals. Osimhen is currently leading the Turkish Super Lig with 20 goals from his 22 appearances.
Galatasaray occupies top spot on the Turkish Super Lig table.
The Super Eagles are set to compete in a four-nation tournament in England this June, alongside Ghana’s Black Stars and Jamaica’s Reggae Boys.
Reports from SCORENigeria reveal that the team will head to England after their historic first-ever match against Russia in Moscow.
The tournament will serve as preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa in September.
The Super Eagles have struggled in the qualifiers so far, managing just one win from six games. Eric Chelle’s team currently sits fourth in Group C with seven points.
