VDM Appears In Court Over Police Uniform Impersonation
Mr Martins Otse, known widely as VDM, faces court proceedings today due to allegations of impersonation linked to a viral social media video.
The FCT Police Command, which is handling the case, alleges that VDM was seen in this video wearing Nigeria Police Force uniforms without authorization.
This has raised concerns within the force about the improper use of its official symbols, as it works to maintain its image and prevent potential misuse.
The Nigeria Police Force stressed the importance of protecting the integrity of its emblems and has reiterated its zero-tolerance stance against unauthorized use of its uniforms.
According to a statement on the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the Nigerian Police, they’re urging the public to stay informed as the case develops, highlighting their commitment to ensuring law and order.
