Victony’s Music Dedication Revealed After 2021 Accident

Nigerian singer Victony recently revealed that his dedication to music only became clear to his parents after he survived a severe car accident in 2021.

In an interview on Sway’s Universe, Victony explained that his parents initially saw music as a hobby and did not realize he was serious about it until after the accident.

He shared that his family did not initially worry about his music career because he excelled in school and they did not see it as a distraction. However, it was only after the accident, which left him in a coma for four days and resulted in a year-long wheelchair confinement, that his parents saw the extent of his commitment. Victony noted that the incident brought attention to his growing fanbase and earned him their support.
