Victor Boniface Says Some Super Eagles Players Don’t Take Match Seriously
Germany-based Nigerian forward, Victor Boniface, has called out a lack of passion among some Super Eagles players, saying a few of them don’t seem to care whether the team wins or loses.
Speaking on The Culture League podcast, the Bayer Leverkusen striker stressed that wearing the national jersey should be treated as an honour, not just another routine game.
Boniface pointed out that millions of Nigerians dream of playing for the Super Eagles, and those lucky enough to be selected should take it seriously.
“There are players who go for national duty and act like it doesn’t matter if we win or lose,” he said. “I always remind them that in a country like Nigeria with such a huge population, it’s a big deal to get that chance.”

Obi stated that it was a serious violation and abuse of power “The extrajudicial killing of a young Nigerian in Effurun, Delta State, by a police officer, Mr. Mene Ogidi, is not only barbaric but also a grave violation of the rule of law.
“Over time, human society has moved away from an era when lives could be taken without consequence. Through the evolution of civilisation, a fundamental principle has emerged: no one should be punished or deprived of life without due process and a fair determination of guilt.”
