“Victor Osimhen Is Staying at Galatasaray” – Galatasaray’s Club President says
Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has confirmed that Victor Osimhen will stay with the club next season. The Nigerian striker spent last season on loan at the Turkish champions. On Sunday, Osimhen turned down a big-money offer from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal, who were willing to activate the €75 million release clause in his contract.
At 26, Osimhen wants to keep playing in Europe. Ozbek revealed that talks are still underway to finalize the details of his contract. “Victor Osimhen is staying at Galatasaray. His feelings will play a key role. Negotiations are in progress,” Ozbek told Hurriyet. “We hope to share good news with you next week.”
