Vinicius Jr. Names Cristiano Ronaldo Neymar and LeBron as His Biggest Idols
Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. has revealed the five sports legends who inspired him the most in his career. The Brazilian forward, who joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018, mentioned Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Nazário, and basketball icon LeBron James as his biggest idols.
In a chat with GQ Spain, Vinicius said, “Cristiano, LeBron, and our Brazilian greats Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Neymar are my idols.” He also shared how surreal it still feels to represent both Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team, calling it a dream come true.
Vinicius had an outstanding season and narrowly missed out on the Ballon d’Or, finishing second behind Manchester City’s Rodri.
