The iconic fashion designer, Giorgio Armani, has reportedly passed away, at the age of 91.

The fashion icon will be remembered for his left act that he built over time. Starting out from 1960’s and successfully building up his brand to different luxury empires in the world, spanning accessories, fragrances, cosmetics, interior design, sports sponsorships, and a chain of exclusive hotels.

Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 Crown Goes to Onyinyechi Basil from Anambra

It has been reported that Onyinyechi Basil from Anambra State has won the Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 crown.

The fashion event was held on the 30th of August, 2025. After many rounds, the final five contestants represented Ogun, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bayelsa States.

Basil stood out among her peers, delivering impressive performances in the swimwear, traditional costume, evening gown, and question-and-answer segments.

She later emerged as the winner and was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2025. With this victory, she will also participate in the Miss Universe Pageant to represent Nigeria.

“I Can Never Forget My Roots” – Fashion Designer Vekee James on Staying Grounded

Nigerian Fashion Designer, Vekee James, states that as she grows in her business, she can never forget her roots.

During a recent interview on The Nancy Isime Show, the designer recalled her growing-up experience in Ajegunle.

“The reason I told that story at the event where I went to speak publicly was because of the content that my husband and I posted on social media.

“The comments I got—I saw people on Twitter saying things like, ‘So you built your brand for five years, you know, you got this base where you’re making dresses for people with money and people with class. And then you just go and taint that class with that kind of classless video.’”
