Ola Aina is confident that Nottingham Forest can continue their strong form in the Premier League after securing a thrilling 3-2 win over Southampton at the City Ground on Sunday.

The victory helped Forest maintain their push for a top-four finish, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side holding onto third place in the league standings.

Aina played a key role in the win, registering his first assist of the season by setting up Chris Wood for Forest’s third goal.

“We’re buzzing after the win. We’re just happy to get the three points today,” Aina told BBC Radio 5 Live.

“We’ve been working hard every week, and it’s showing on the pitch. To be up there with some of the biggest teams is a real credit to us. We’ll keep pushing and take it week by week.”
