‘We Deserved to Lose’ — Mbappé Reacts to Real Madrid Loss vs Benfica
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has reacted to his team’s defeat to Benfica in their last match.
The French star did not hold back as he criticised both himself and the team, reflecting on what went wrong during the game.
“We deserved to lose. It was not a good performance. We are too inconsistent.”
He further stressed the need for improvement, adding “We can’t keep being this inconsistent. We can’t keep doing this day-on, day-off thing. It’s not what champions do.”
