Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, recently opened up about her close bond with her mother.

In an interview with ET at the 67th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, the “Mr. Rebel” hitmaker revealed that she shares everything she has with her mom. “What I have is hers. We share everything I have,” Tems said, highlighting the depth of their relationship.

Reflecting on her Grammy win, Tems expressed immense gratitude, saying, “I’m grateful to God. I’m thankful. I think it’s a blessing. I’m extremely blessed and favored. I just want to give that out in any way that I can.”

Tems’ song Love Me Jeje won the prestigious Best African Music Performance award at the event. While accepting the award, she took a moment to honor her mother, dedicating the win to her as a gesture of love and appreciation.
