WhatsApp Rolls Out Exciting iOS Update: Now Usable as Default Call & Messaging App
New update release with WhatsApp for IOS users sparks excitement. The software application recently released a new update that enables WhatsApp on iPhone to select a default.
The new update now allows iPhone’s default app for calls and messaging. It also enables iPhone users to default apps for several functions depending on their preference.
The update permits users to tap on a number or contact to call or message them on WhatsApp instead of before with a normal call.
The new update also goes as far as allowing the users to customize a default across different categories such as calling, messaging, keyboard and password management. However for iPhone to truly access this new features it must be updated to iOS 18.2.

Nigeria to Use Space-Based Technology to Tackle Illegal Mining and Financial Crimes
It has been reported that Nigeria plans to use space-based technology to increase mining security against illegal mining and financial crimes.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) have agreed to work as partners for security.
Therefore, satellite technology will be used to check and watch mining places to increase security and for proper investigation if needed for any case.

Apple Invests $500M in Rare Materials, Partners with California Recycler to Boost Supply
It has been noted that Apple is now investing $500 million in a new deal involving rare materials that will help improve and support its smartphones as they face pressure from President Donald Trump.
To resolve this pressure and issue, Apple has made a move to purchase rare earth magnets to help boost its sales in the U.S.
Apple has also decided to partner with a recycling company in California that will make use of the recycled rare materials used in Apple products.
