The series has captivated audiences worldwide, securing top positions on Netflix charts in multiple countries, including South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Directed by Kim Won-seok and written by Lim Sang-choon, the drama narrates the enduring 50-year romance between Ae-sun and Gwan-sik, beginning in the 1960s and extending to the present day. The storyline delves into their journey through various challenges such as natural disasters, familial opposition, and political upheavals, while also celebrating moments of personal triumph and familial joy.
