Who Was Charlie Kirk? Why the World Is Talking About Him After His Tragic Death
Charlie Kirk was an American political activist who co-founded Turning Point USA, an organization that promotes young people taking part in changing the world.
The activist was also bold about his beliefs, such as gun rights, transgender rights, immigration, and much more. However, some of his views and beliefs had many people disagreeing with him. The activist, however, turned it into debates and always challenged whoever had another opinion.
It can be noted that this personality and bold approach to sensitive issues served as a challenge to others.
On the 10th of September, 2025, the activist held an outdoor session at Utah Valley University in Utah, where he set up a debate table called “Prove Me Wrong.” Charlie started the session, and it was set to deal with students who could possibly challenge his views. Unfortunately, the activist was shot in the neck at the event and died from it.

FG Clears the Air on Rumours of Adire Replacing NYSC Uniform
The Federal Government of Nigeria has reacted to rumours claiming it has approved Adire as the new fabric for the NYSC uniform.
It can be recalled that the Federal Government recently announced plans to review the NYSC uniform, which sparked speculation online that Adire had already been selected as its replacement.
However, the government has clarified that no final decision has been made regarding the new uniform.
“I mentioned Adire during the discussion. I also mentioned Ankara. My intention was simply to cite examples of some of the proposals that have been put forward in the course of our consultations. It was not an announcement that any particular fabric has been adopted or approved to replace the current NYSC uniform.”
