Wizkid Drops New Single “Piece of My Heart” Featuring Brent Faiyaz
Nigerian singer Wizkid has released a new single titled “Piece of My Heart,” featuring American artist Brent Faiyaz. The song came out on October 18 and is the first track from Wizkid’s upcoming album, “Morayo,” which will be released on November 22.
“Piece of My Heart” combines Wizkid’s lively Afrobeats style with Brent Faiyaz’s smooth R&B vibes. The lyrics express deep love and devotion, with Brent singing the memorable chorus, “Nothing can tear us apart, you’ve got a piece of my heart,” while Wizkid adds his unique melodies.
The collaboration highlights the strong connection between the two artists, creating a beautiful mix of their musical styles. With several exciting collaborations this year, “Piece of My Heart” is one of the most eagerly awaited songs of the fall.
Music executive Ubi Franklin speaks on music and shares how music is actually very risky to get into, and he explains why.
He states that no matter how much you put into music, you are never sure of how much you will get back.
He said “Music is the riskiest business I’ve ever done. You need ₦100m to promote one song. Even if TikTok carries it, you still need money to keep it on the charts because people have short attention spans, and there’s no guarantee you’ll get your money back.”
Popular singer Lil Nas X shares an emotional tribute to his mum.
The singer took to social media and shared: “RIP TO THE BADDEST EVER! LOVE U FOREVER MOMMY. this one’s gonna hurt,” he wrote in the caption.

She then got emotional, remembering when she was not usually invited to such events because she did not have kids. She always felt sad because of this, so going for this birthday party made her happy.
She added at the end “Please don’t make it harder by excluding people. A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration. Invite her. Love her. Celebrate with her. You never truly know what someone is carrying behind their smile.”
