Popular Nigerian Singer Wizkid speaks on the state of Nigeria and Africa, he expresses his desire for the country to be a better place.
“I hope that every artist from Africa gets to tell their story like this. Because I’m not the only one from that hustle, we all came from there. I feel like everyone deserves the chance to tell their story like this.
“I always wish for more success for the whole culture; from music to film to sports. And I wish for better government. I’m just a very positive human being regardless of any thing. I wish the best for everyone making amazing music and amazing art from Africa.”

During a recent interview, the singer revealed that she was always into baggy clothes; she never dressed the way she does now during her days as a songwriter abroad.
“The sexiness in my 2014 single ‘Wanted’ music video felt groundbreaking at that time because I had just gotten married, and there was a lot of press saying, ‘She’s not going to be desirable anymore. She’s finished. Her time is gone. There are new people on the scene.’ So, I was just like, let me do something crazy.”

Popular Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema has opened up about how online trolling has played a surprising role in his success story. In a recent video interview shared on social media, the singer revealed that he finds joy in being trolled, saying it has actually helped him grow and reach new heights globally.
Rema reflected on the early days of his career when many doubted his unique sound. He admitted that things could have turned out differently if he had given in to the negative voices.
“It’s crazy how what people mocked me for ended up working in my favour,” he said. “Imagine if I had quit or changed my style because of the trolling. Four years later, it’s paying off, and there’s still more to come.”
