Woman Arrested for Smuggling Drugs into Kuje Custodial Centre
Precious Yusuf was arrested by the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), FCT Command, for attempting to smuggle Indian hemp and other drugs into the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Kuje, Abuja.
Disguised as a visitor, she was caught during a routine search. She confessed to being sent to deliver the items to an inmate.
The FCT Command Controller, Ibrahim Usman, has handed her over to the NDLEA for further investigation and prosecution.
Usman emphasized the vigilance of officers and called for public support to maintain safety and reformation.
