Xabi Alonso Plans to Bring Jonathan Tah to Real Madrid
Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso is reportedly planning to bring his standout defender, Jonathan Tah, to Real Madrid when he takes over at the Spanish club this summer.
Alonso, who currently leads Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, is expected to replace Carlo Ancelotti at the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season, according to recent reports. Tah, who has been with Leverkusen since 2015, has been a key player for Alonso’s side, playing in nearly every match this season except one.
His stellar performances have caught the attention of top European clubs, including Barcelona, and with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, he could join Real Madrid on a free transfer. Meanwhile, Ancelotti is expected to take over the Brazil national team in the summer.
