UK-based content creator Oluomo of Derby has given an update on the ongoing court case involving Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee in the United Kingdom.

He shared the update after attending court proceedings on September 15, 2026. “I wanted to provide a brief update following today’s proceedings. The plea hearing is scheduled for 8th February 2027, and the trial is scheduled to begin on 8th March 2027.”

“At this stage, it is important that we allow the legal process to take its course and avoid making assumptions or passing judgment based on allegations or information circulating publicly.

“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and that principle must be respected throughout the entire process.”

Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, is facing five sexual offence charges in the UK. His plea hearing has been fixed for February 8, 2027, while the trial is scheduled to begin on March 8, 2027.

It has been reported that popular Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs has passed away at the age of 84. The news was shared by his son, Olusoji Jacobs, on September 16, 2026, in a statement announcing the actor’s death.

“It is with gratitude to God for a life well lived and fought, that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and uncle. The Lion of Lufodo.

“Oludotun Baiyewun Jacobs (MFR) 11/07/1942–16/09/2026. We call on all bloggers and social media influencers to respect our family’s privacy at this time,” Olusoji wrote.

Olu Jacobs was a veteran actor who had been active in the Nigerian and international film industry for several decades.
