The multi-award-winning Yemi Alade wowed fans at her recent concert with her infectious energy, powerful vocals, and vibrant stage presence. Hosted by Shopsydoo and Sophy Aiida, the event featured a surprise guest appearance from former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou.
The concert was packed with excitement as Alade invited several high-profile artists to join her on stage. DJs Tyler and Kawest energized the crowd with electrifying beats, while rising star Jungeli added a dynamic edge to the performance.
Collaborations with versatile Merveille and celebrated Congolese artist Innoss’B thrilled the audience. Throughout the concert, Yemi Alade showcased her latest hits, including “Peace and Love,” “Tomorrow,” and the chart-topping “Ki lo wa wa.” Expressing her joy, Alade remarked, “This concert was an absolute dream come true! This win is for all African women with a vision to succeed.” The sold-out show further solidified her status as a leading voice in African music.
Nigerian actor Tobi Makinde has reacted to rumours circulating about his relationship with Funke Akindele.
It can be noted that reports claimed the two were no longer on speaking terms and had grown apart.
However, the actor has dismissed the rumours, stating that nothing has changed between them and that social media is making assumptions.
“Nothing really happened between me and Madam Funke, and I am not aware of any fallout. Social media likes constructing their own script, and when they are done, they start looking for people to fill in the character they want.”
Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared her views on faith and religion. She explained that her relationship with God is personal and not solely based on church attendance, but something she works on daily.
“I can only try to be as perfect as Jesus is. I am not there yet, but I’m trying my best. I have a very close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it doesn’t come with me only being in church.”
She added “Everything that comes with religion can feel limiting. I have found a way that works for me, and I am fine with it for now.”
Popular rapper Cardi B has issued a strong warning to individuals who stole and used her credit card.
It can be noted that the rapper had earlier expressed her frustration on social media after discovering her card was stolen and used before it could be frozen.
She later revealed that the stores where the transactions occurred captured clear images of the suspects, and she intends to pursue justice.
“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money. You all are going to jail,”.
