Earlier on Kokopee took to social media to join the mass to cry out on the release of VeryDarkMan. Later on he then claimed that EFCC has started searching him out.

EFCC Breaks Silence on VeryDarkMan’s Arrest, Reveals Reason

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) finally breaks silence on the arrest of Nigerian activist, VeryDarkMan.

On the 5th of May, 2025, EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, drops an official statement and reveals the reason for arresting VeryDarkMan.

We arrested him to respond to a series of allegations raised against him by some petitioners.”

Afterwards the spokesperson was asked about the involvement of GTBank in which he responded “The petitions came from various individuals, We are responsible for protecting them.”

Brazilian police say they’ve stopped a planned bombing at a Lady Gaga concert held Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro. Authorities have arrested one suspect linked to the failed attack, and investigations are still ongoing.

According to the Civil Police, a group had been using online platforms to recruit people for a planned assault using homemade explosives. The attackers were reportedly hoping to gain fame on social media by carrying out the act. The concert, part of Gaga’s Mayhem tour, took place at the iconic Copacabana venue.

The pop star had shared her excitement about the show on Instagram last month, saying she was happy to return to Brazil after a past cancellation due to injury. She called it an honor to perform for her Brazilian fans, who she described as a big part of her journey.
