Big Brother Naija Season 8 winner, Kellyrae, has dismissed claims that he didn’t deserve the N100 million grand prize, calling out critics for lacking wisdom.

The reality star addressed the ongoing controversy during a podcast hosted by fellow housemate, Adekunle Olopade.

Some fans and former contestants, including Shaun, have argued that Kellyrae’s contributions on the show were insufficient to warrant his win.

However, Kellyrae responded firmly, stating that personal disagreements should not overshadow merit.

He shared an example involving Onyeka, who isn’t on good terms with his wife, Kassia, but still acknowledges her undeniable talent.

“Just because we’re not on good terms doesn’t mean I should discredit her.

Talent should always be recognized,” Kellyrae explained.

He also questioned the reasoning of his critics, noting that feeling more deserving of the prize than others without valid grounds reflects poor judgment.

“If you think you were worthier of the money, then you’re not being wise,” he said.
