2Face Says Burna Boy Is His Number One Artist and Calls Him Senior
Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Face, has crowned Burna Boy as the country’s top artist at the moment.
In a recent chat with Urban FM in Enugu, the African Queen hitmaker praised Burna Boy as the leader of today’s music scene. Hr describes Burna Boy as the “senior” among his peers.
“Personally, Burna Boy is my number one right now,” 2Face said. “I still admire many other artists. But for me, he stands out as the senior. There are also younger ones coming up strongly, and I see them reaching that level too.”
The Love Island USA Season 8 cast has reunited ahead of the show’s highly anticipated reunion.
The reunion is scheduled to air on August 31, 2026, on Peacock, with Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen returning as co-hosts. The reunion was filmed on August 10 at Universal Studios, with the cast arriving for filming and fans getting a first look at their reunion appearances.

Nigerian TikTok influencer Peller makes headlines for his vows to his wife, Jarvis, at their white wedding, which was held on August 1, 2026. The couple had previously announced the date ahead of their wedding.
The influencer added in his vows “We are one. Whatever is mine is yours. I promise to do 50/50 with you; I don’t care what people say.”
Fans were left in awe of the couple and shared how their love appears genuine despite the content and jokes they often make online.
Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon offers Peter Okoye ₦500 million if he beats his brother, Paul Okoye, in a boxing match.
It can be noted that the music executive wrote out the offer on his phone and simply put it out “₦500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match.”
