Yul Edochie Calls Out Churchgoers for Using Phones During Services
Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has called out people who use their phones while attending church services.
The actor questioned why some people find it difficult to stay off their phones while in church, urging them to pay attention and listen to the word of God.
Yul also compared the situation to what happens when people visit important government officials, noting that people can stay without their phones for hours when meeting a governor or president.
He wrote “It’s sad seeing people who go to church and be pressing their phones inside the church while mass or service is going on.
“You mean you can’t stay off your phone for an hour in respect to God? If you go to see a Governor or President, your phones will be taken from you for hours and you’ll be ok with it.
“But while you’re in the presence of our Creator, you can’t put off your phone and listen to His word? “Really sad.”
