The Lagos State Attorney General has confirmed the release of the toxicology report and other forensic analyses conducted in the United States on the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. These reports, which were commissioned to determine the cause of the singer’s untimely death, have been eagerly awaited by fans and the general public.

According to the Attorney General, the toxicology results, along with other forensic tests, are crucial to understanding the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s sudden death. The U.S. analysis was carried out to provide an independent and comprehensive evaluation of any potential toxic substances or external factors that may have contributed to his passing. While the exact findings of the report have yet to be fully disclosed to the public, the Lagos State government has assured that all necessary information will be made available in due course, as the investigation into the case continues.

Mohbad’s death in September 2023 shocked the Nigerian entertainment industry, leading to widespread speculation about possible foul play. Fans and fellow musicians have since called for a thorough investigation to ensure that justice is served. The release of these forensic reports marks a significant step in that direction, as they provide concrete evidence that can either confirm or dispel rumors surrounding the singer’s demise.

The Attorney General also reiterated the Lagos State government’s commitment to transparency and justice in this high-profile case. Legal authorities have promised that any individuals found to be responsible for Mohbad’s death, if any, will face the full weight of the law.
