Mohbad’s Wife, Omowunmi Reveals How They Met on 2Go as Teenagers
Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has shared how they first met. She revealed that their journey began 12 years ago on the social media platform 2Go when they were both teenagers.
In a recent interview, Omowunmi explained that they started as friends, bonding over their shared love for music—she was a rapper, and he was a singer. Their friendship later blossomed into a relationship, and they eventually got married and had a child together.
Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was buried the next day by his father, Joseph Aloba, in Ikorodu, Lagos. His body was later exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy due to ongoing controversies surrounding his death.
The autopsy results are yet to be released, and his father has insisted that Mohbad will only be reburied once the results are out and a DNA test is conducted to confirm the paternity of his grandson, Liam.
