Capable of playing as both a right-back and a left-back, the 27-year-old has featured in 19 Premier League matches for Forest, scoring twice and earning praise for his solid performances.
Aina’s journey began at Chelsea, where he came through the academy system before moving on to Torino in Serie A.
After a stint in Italy, he returned to England to join Nottingham Forest, where he has become an integral part of the squad.
With just six months left on his current contract, Aina’s availability could make him an appealing target for City.
