Late Singer’s Dad, Mohbad’s Father, reflects on his life and struggles after losing his son. He expressed that sometimes he could not fulfil his responsibilities due to his son’s widow, Wunmi. He also revealed that his wife was unfaithful with another man.

“Yes, My Life Got Better after Mohbad’s passing, Wunmi and her family didn’t allow Mohbad to perform his responsibilities in my life while he was alive, Liam is not My Grandson. I did Paternity DNA and confirmed that I am Mohbad’s Father.”

“I separated with Mama Mohbad because she cheated on me when Mohbad was 7, My other son Adura said he wants to Disown me, Naira Marley wasn’t in Nigeria when Mohbad passed away.”

Annie Macaulay Says Her Daughters Are Her Backbone After Split from 2Face

Nigerian model and actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has made it clear that her daughters are the most important people in her life. Annie, who recently parted ways with her husband 2Face Idibia, shared this while speaking with a reporter at the Headies Awards in Lagos on Sunday.

When asked about her family, she pointedly said that her two daughters, Isabella and Olivia, are the only family she has, describing them as her “backbone.” Speaking in pidgin, Annie said, “You mean my children? My children dey kampe. The first one dey Yankee, she dey go school. No play with that girl o. I don’t play with my kids. Na them be my backbone.”

Annie also grabbed attention on stage when she introduced herself as single, jokingly correcting her name, “My name is Annie Idi—oh sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, single ladies!”

Shallipopi Vows to Boycott The Headies After Embarrassing Moment

Nigerian artist Shallipopi has said he will no longer attend future editions of The Headies after an awkward experience at the 17th edition held in Lagos on Sunday.

Shallipopi, who was nominated for the highly competitive Next Rated award but lost to his close associate Odumodublvck, seemed to get a bit of hope when his track ‘Cast’ was announced as the Best Rap Single of the Year.

However, when he got on stage to accept the award, the presenter simply shook his hand without giving him the actual plaque. Reports later revealed that the organisers had run out of plaques midway through the event.

Taking to his X page on Monday, Shallipopi expressed his frustration and said he would be boycotting the event going forward. He added that he didn’t even want the Best Rap Single award because he doesn’t see himself as a rapper, suggesting it should have gone to one of the real rappers in the category. “The next one if una see me make I bend,” he posted.
