Kelechi Iheanacho Sets to Leave Sevilla as He Decides on Next Club
Sevilla manager García Pimienta has confirmed that Kelechi Iheanacho will have the final say on his next move as the Nigerian forward weighs multiple offers from clubs across Europe.
Iheanacho, who joined Sevilla on a free transfer last summer, has struggled to make an impact, failing to score in nine LaLiga appearances. Now, with interest from clubs in England, Greece, France, and Turkey, his future at the Spanish club looks uncertain.
Despite his underwhelming spell, Sevilla is open to letting him go either on loan or a permanent transfer. Speaking ahead of their LaLiga match against Getafe, Pimienta made it clear that the decision is in Iheanacho’s hands.
“He has many offers and is deciding which is the best option. He has absolute freedom to choose. He will be called up, but he needs to make his decision,” the coach said.
Former English footballer, Jamie Redknapp, makes bold suggestion regarding Mohamed Salah to leave the club, Liverpool.
The suggestion came after Liverpool manager Arne Slot criticized the player — a move Redknapp called out following Salah’s benching in the last match.
The former player shared “I don’t necessarily think in January. I just think we have got to let this settle. But I don’t foresee that he will see out the two years of his contract. I think it might be more in the summer.”

It can be recalled that Aston Villa scored a goal in the first half, but Arsenal scored back in the second half. After equalizing, Aston Villa scored another goal.
“In the first half we had moments, obviously had the best chance after a foul on Riccy [Calafiori] that Watkins goes through,” Arteta said.
“In the second half we started really well. Scored a goal and we were really dominant.”
