Iheanacho Hints at Sevilla Return but Focused on Middlesbrough for Now
Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has hinted that he wouldn’t rule out a return to Sevilla despite his recent move to Middlesbrough.
Speaking to Middlesbrough’s official website, the 28-year-old described Sevilla as a great club and a place he truly enjoyed playing.
“It was a good experience stepping out of England and playing in a different environment,” Iheanacho said. “The atmosphere there was amazing, and I really enjoyed my time at Sevilla. It’s a great team, and I’d always be happy to go back.”
However, for now, his focus is entirely on Middlesbrough and making the most of his time with Michael Carrick’s side. “I’m here now, and I’m focused on what I can achieve here,” he added.

It has been reported that a four-year ban has been placed on Chelsea’s player, Mykhailo Mudryk, for anti-doping violations.
The player appealed in court on February 25 but has now been handed his punishment, which is a four-year ban from football.
It can be recalled that his last appearance on the field was on November 28, 2024.
