Iheanacho Considera Loan Move to Marseille After Tough Time at Sevilla
Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille is eyeing a loan move for Sevilla striker Kelechi Iheanacho for the remainder of the season.
Iheanacho, who joined Sevilla on a free transfer last summer, has struggled to make an impact at the club, and Sevilla is now open to letting him leave this month.
He has had limited opportunities to shine at the Spanish side, leading to the club’s decision to allow him to seek a fresh challenge.
Meanwhile, Sevilla made a move of their own this week, signing Iheanacho’s fellow Nigerian, Jerome Akor Adams, from Montpellier. This signing may have further complicated Iheanacho’s position at Sevilla.
Reports from France indicate that Iheanacho is considering his options, with Marseille emerging as a top contender for his signature.
The French club has reportedly made contact with both Sevilla and the striker, signaling their interest in securing his services.

The player appealed in court on February 25 but has now been handed his punishment, which is a four-year ban from football.
