Tems Wins a BET Award 2024

The 2024 BET Awards, which celebrate Black artists and individuals in the entertainment industry worldwide, took place on June 30 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. At the event, Nigerian artist Tems emerged victorious in the Best Gospel/Inspirational Song category with her hit track “Me & U”.

It was a challenging night for the Nigerian contingent, who lost in all other categories. Tems outshone notable contenders such as Halle Bailey and Kirk Franklin, who were nominated for their works “Angel” and “All Things,” respectively.

Rema Tops YouTube Charts with 223 Million Streams for First Quarter of 2025

Popular Nigerian Artist, Rema has been recognized as the most streamed Nigerian Artist on YouTube for the first quarter of 2025.

Rema gathered a total of 223 millions streams, assisted because of his single “Is It Crime”, which was a total 14 million streams.

While the second most streamed Nigerian Artist is Burna Boy with a total of 171 million streams in the first quarter of 2025.

Third on the list for the most streamed Nigerian on YouTube is Ayra Starr, who has a total of 169 million streams.
