“We’ll Find a Solution” — Pep Guardiola Speaks on City’s Injury Setback
Manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, has revealed that his team is facing a heavy blow after major injuries to key players in a recent match. The manager was briefly interviewed after the 1–1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
“We have a lot [of defensive injuries]. John Stones is missing for I don’t know how many months. Rúben will now be out, and Joško will be out. As we always know with Nathan, he cannot play regularly.”
“But at the same time, what happened last season — stay strong and we’ll find a solution. The spirit will be there. If the spirit is there, we will be there.”
