Davido’s marriage is not a good example to follow – Burna Boy
Grammy Award-winning singer Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, subtly criticized Davido’s marriage, suggesting it’s not a model to follow.
This came after a user urged Burna Boy to consider marrying, citing Davido as an example.
Burna Boy responded by preferring to stay as he is, questioning if the user was aware of Davido’s current challenges.
When teased about his response, Burna Boy questioned if Davido’s situation was a better example.
He also commented positively on Adekunle Gold’s marriage aspirations. Davido is currently embroiled in a custody battle with his ex-partner, Sophia Momodu, despite recently marrying Chioma in a lavish ceremony in Lagos.

Liz said “You travelled for a party just because you needed donations, just because you are broke and poor. That is why you travelled with your daughter to the party. How many of them went to that party with their children? How many of them?”
Priscilla then defended her mother, saying I’m not a child; I am a wife and a mom, and I’m capable of making my own decisions. I will never go where I am not invited. I have been quiet about this lady because she is clearly mentally ill, and I am building my case. That’s all I’ll say.”
The official 2026 FIFA World Cup song, “Dai Dai” by Shakira featuring Burna Boy, has reached a major milestone by becoming the highest-charting World Cup song in history, surpassing “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).”
The song reached the Billboard Hot 100, with “Dai Dai” climbing 25 spots this week to peak at No. 17, surpassing the previous record held by Shakira and Freshlyground’s “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).”

The full trailer will be released on July 29, 2026, while the movie is officially set to premiere in cinemas on January 15.
