Olivia Rodrigo, Katy Perry, and Beyoncé Back Kamala Harris for President
Olivia Rodrigo, the renowned pop star and actress, has recently shown her support for Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election.
With President Joe Biden no longer running as the Democratic candidate, Rodrigo has taken to Instagram to promote Harris’s candidacy.
She shared a video of Harris committing to restore reproductive rights at her inaugural campaign rally, accompanied by enthusiastic emojis.
In addition to Rodrigo, singer Katy Perry has also voiced her endorsement of Harris for President.
Perry posted a creative edit featuring Harris, paired with her song “Woman’s World.” The message is clear in Perry’s lyrics: “It’s a woman’s world, and you’re fortunate to be a part of it.”
On the heels of these endorsements, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, publicly supported Harris as well. This came shortly after Biden decided to step aside as the Democratic candidate.
Furthermore, Beyoncé herself has contributed to Harris’s campaign by granting permission to use her empowering song “Freedom” for campaign events. Harris made a memorable entrance at her campaign headquarters on Monday, walking out to the powerful anthem.
