Nigeria Police Arrest Over 2,398 Suspects Nationwide
The Nigeria Police Force announced on Tuesday that officers deployed nationwide have apprehended more than 2,398 suspects in recent months.
According to the report, the arrests include 259 individuals charged with armed robbery, 186 suspected kidnappers, and 1,575 others involved in a variety of crimes.

Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, made this disclosure while presenting a group of newly arrested suspects detained by the Intelligence Response Team.
He highlighted the police’s ongoing commitment to maintaining law and order, noting that these arrests demonstrate the effectiveness of intelligence-led operations.
Adejobi emphasized the importance of community cooperation in ensuring the success of these security measures and vowed that the police would continue to prioritize public safety in every region of Nigeria.
