In a tragic incident that has sparked outrage, a police officer in Nasarawa State accidentally ran over 35-year-old Patience Ashenenye and her two young children, leading to their untimely deaths.

In a move that has shocked the community, the officer reportedly offered Ashenenye’s family N100,000 to cover burial expenses, a gesture many have deemed grossly inadequate and insensitive given the scale of the tragedy.

Patience Ashenenye’s sudden death has left her family and the community in tears. The loss of both a mother and her children has been particularly heartbreaking for those who knew them.

Many have pointed out that the N100,000 offered by the officer does not even begin to cover the emotional and financial burden left on the grieving family.
