Activist VeryDarkMan Alleges Top Comedian Tried to Funnel ₦700 Million Through NGO

Popular Nigerian activist, VeryDarkMan, has accused a popular comedian of attempting to initiate illegal practices by funneling a sum of ₦700 million through a non-governmental organization (NGO).

The activist took to social media to reveal the information, saying “A popular comedian — this comedian dey very quiet, you no go see am for social media; nothing concern am. He said they want to wire ₦700 million into your NGO account.”

“For the NGO, you go carry some money comot, nobody go know. You go give us the money and carry 10%, that’s ₦70 million for my own. I tell am say anything wey make ₦700 million touch this NGO account, I no go dey find land again — na building I dey go buy. Anything wey make their money touch this account, their money don go.”
