Adeboye Urges Nigerians to Pray and Stay Vigilant Against Fire Outbreaks
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has issued a strong warning to Nigerians about the rising threat of fire outbreaks across the country.
During his sermon at the church’s February Thanksgiving service held at the Throne of Grace Parish in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Adeboye urged citizens to remain vigilant and prayerful in the face of potential natural disasters, including storms and floods.
In particular, Adeboye warned farmers preparing their lands for the planting season to be extra cautious about bush burning. He stressed the importance of avoiding any form of open flame around farmlands.
“Do not ignore the dangers of fire,” Adeboye cautioned. “Farmers, please do not burn bushes while preparing your farms. I am telling you this for your own good.”
He concluded by praying for God’s protection over the nation, asking for divine intervention to prevent disasters and grant peace and safety to all.

Analyst Says Tinubu Not Responsible for Recent U.S.-Linked Airstrike Claims
Nigerian news analyst, Mahmud Jega, has shared his opinion on the recent airstrike carried out by the United States in Nigeria, stating that Nigerians should not blame President Bola Tinubu for the incident.
Jega made this statement during a recent interview, where he said he does not believe many people will hold the Tinubu administration responsible, as Donald Trump had issued threats against Nigeria long before Tinubu’s administration.
“No, I don’t think many people will blame the Tinubu administration for what is happening now because President Donald Trump, when he first made the threats, it was clearly not in coordination with the Tinubu administration or the government of Nigeria,” Jega said.
