Annie Idibia Opens Up About Her Miscarriage Struggles and Emotional Journey
Wife of 2BaBa, Annie Idibia reveals that she suffered a miscarriage last year. Speaking in the recent series of Young, Famous and African, she spoke on the loss of her child and the experience.
She revealed it was a twins pregnancy and despite already having kids it was heartbreaking to her and her family. She also stated that it was only her husband and mother that were aware of this pregnancy and miscarriage.
“I was not coming out enough the whole of last year, even in the group, I was pregnant with twins but I had a miscarriage.”
“I wish I had someone to tell me in this group that I’m pregnant. I would be having a baby, and then we lost that. It was hard.
I wasn’t even sure if I could share this with any of my friends. It’s only Innocent and my mum that knew about it.”
Nigerian singer and songwriter Asa announces that her mother has passed away due to a brain tumor.
She revealed this heartbreaking news on social media where she shared a tribute expressing her grief.
“My mother, my reason to be, my queen, my everything. A sudden brain tumor came without warning and took you too soon. You were generous. The kindest soul. You had your own quiet swag, you were extremely shy, and so funny.”
“My biggest fan. You couldn’t hold a note to save your life, but you sang every one of my songs with your whole heart. Your strength, your love, your spirit will remain with me forever. Rest now, Mum.”
Nigerian singer Chike reveals lesson he learnt from his mother in regard to choosing a partner.
During a recent interview, he shares how his mother taught him not to be with someone that is unproductive.
“I think everyone should look for a partner that adds value. I personally, my mom has said this thing to me several times that no matter how the love is doing you, no settle with woman wey no get wetin she dey do…”
Nigerian singer Shallipopi shares his experience in the music industry and states that he wasn’t always treated well.
He revealed how at the beginning no artists helped him till he started to make it “2023/2024 many artist pour me spit for face…. I mean manyyyyyy, that’s why I’m extra mean, ogun go kill una one by one as time dey go.”
